It was one of the really big events of the year at Theatre des Champs Élysées in Paris, where the young very talented conductor Vasily Petrenko conducted The Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at a good programme as mentioned above.
The brilliant Hélène Grimaud was virtuose and elegant in the Mozart piano concerto, however, the big pleasure and surprise was the orchestra, their sound, the energy, and the many beautiful details from the soloplayers in all the groups.
