Aarhus Theatre s house dramatist Christian Lollike has created a new translation of Shakespeare s immortal tragedy. Lollike s version is stripped of every redundant detail and allows tradition to collide with rawness. The newly written songs are accompanied live by Hans Hansen and Jacob Kosteljanetz s electronic sound. Designer Anja Vang Kragh has created the dramatic costumes and Olaf Højgaard and Marie Dalsgaard are on stage as the two young, destined lovers.
