Beach Boys at Royal Albert Hall.
The Beach Boys in London
The Beach Boys have returned to London for two special shows at the Royal Albert Hall. It became a “guilty pleasure”
Review and photos by Tomas Bagackas
LONDON/GREAT BRITAIN: The Royal Albert Hall was packed for The Beach Boys concerts this past week-end, and, of course, Kulturkompasset were present among the many thousands in the audience.
It became an extraordinary swinging experience. And we nearly forgot that they started their carriere over 50 years ago.
At the lead were Mike Love and Bruce Johnson, followed by Jeffrey Foskett, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill and Scott Totten. (foto)
“I have still good vibrations after the great concert at The Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday! The Beach Boys made an unforgetable evening!” Tomas Bagackas.
It was an inspiration to return to the former times, To day this music is still catching both the young and the older audience, the swinging style to The Beach Boys is opening hearts and makes an extraordinary good atmosphaere between generations.
Jeffery Fosket

You can capsulise most pop music acts by reciting how many hits they’ve had and how many millions of albums they’ve sold, but these conventional measurements fall short when you’re assessing the impact of The Beach Boys.
Changing the musical landscape so profoundly that every pop act since has been in its debt, the band has birthed a torrent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions.
Happily for us all, The Beach Boys continue to create and perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut over 50 years ago.
For these concerts the line-up was be led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who was joined by Jeffery Foskett (guitar/vocals), Randell Kirsch (bass/vocals), Tim Bonhomme (keyboards/vocals), John Cowsill of The Cowsills (percussion /vocals) and Scott Totten (guitar/vocals).
All Royal Albert Hall was swinging, a great event.
ACOUSTICS at Royal Albert Hall
However and unfortunately the acoustics at Royal Albert Hall is a problem, it dont work at all, as far as I have been informed, still after a lot of improvements. But for the atmosphaere it doesn´t matter, but the musically quality could have been even much better, than how it was

MIKE LOVE writes Book:
Beach Boys singer MIKE LOVE is going to tell the story of his five-decade tenure in the famously fractious band in the summer of 2016 with the release of his first book, which is tentatively titled Good Vibrations: My Life as a Beach Boy.
It’s timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of “Good Vibrations.” James S. Hirsch, who has written books about Willie Mays and Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, will be Love’s co-writer.
