The Bournonville Summer Academy is arranged in the wonderful city Biarritz, situated far south at the Atlantic coast in France, only a few kilometers from the Pyrenee Mountains and the Spanish Boarder.

This year the course is based on Bournonvilles Wednesdays class, and the repertoire classes will be from Flowerfestival in Genzano and A Folk Tale
. Classes, Lectures, Repertoire, Films.

Outstanding members of the Bournonville Academy, Copenhagen are teaching.

As in 2009 and 2010 the course is an inspiring event, and giving all participants the possibillity to go deeper in to August Bournvilles fascinating ballet world. This year through Solos, Pas de deux and ensembles from Flowerfestival in Genzano and A Folk Tale outstanding ballets from the Bournonville  repertoire. The morning class is his Wednesday class.
