“Kasparas Uinskas has all the makings of a great pianist and musician … in his first recital in New York, offered plenty of evidence of the talent that earned him his impressive start to an international career …” “New York Concert Review” This review is appeared after Kasparas Uinskas first recital at Carnegie Hall. Uinskas also made a very successful series of concerts in the most famous theaters in the world, including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, London’s Wigmore Hall, Berlin Philharmonic, and others. His international appearances have been highly appreciated by music critics and the public.

After its debut in Berlin, the critic wrote: “… The recital pianist Lithuanian Kasparas Uinskas was far from a recital more in the musical landscape of the rich Berlin … impeccable technique allowed him to carry out the interpretation common … “(Klassik in Berlin, Antje Rößler).

Last season, K. Uinskas appeared as soloist and chamber musician in concerts with orchestras in the UK – London’s Wigmore Hall, Spain – Madrid Auditorio Nacional Auditorio Fundación Caixa Galicia A Coruna, Poland – Krakow Philharmonic, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Turkey and Lithuania.

Highlights of the 2011/2012/2013 season have included concerts with the Orchestra Slovak Radio Symphony, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the North Czech Republic Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kislovodsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Filarmonica de Stat Targu Mures, the Filarmonica Oltenia in Romania, as well as recitals at London’s Wigmore Hall, Kulturhus Bærum (Norway), the Bozar in Brussels, Filarmonica de Stat Targu Mures in Romania, solo and chamber music (with violinist Nikita Borisoglebsky ) on a concert tour in Brazil. And during The Norland Music Festival, Bodø, Norway with a recital 8th August 2013, which was described as “A Fantastic Concert”.

After the very successful at the Wigmore Hall in London in May 2012 concert, Robert Beattie Seen and Heard International wrote: “Kasparas Uinskas impressed at the Wigmore Hall. … “It is gratifying to see such an accomplished and emotionally mature performance of this work by a very sophisticated young pianist [Brahms Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Op 5]. The exchanges … in D flat major binary time the hands were played with sensitivity to breath that was absolutely magical.” 

Mr. Uinskas returns to London Wigmore Hall, with a solo recital, April 4, 2014.

. Uinskas is frequently invited to international festivals in Europe and the United States, including the Aspen Music Festival (USA), the Festival of the Hamptons Music (USA), the South Shore Music (USA), the Holland Music Sessions and others. The Verbier Music Festival in Switzerland, the Grand Prix was awarded Reuter, allowing him to give a recital the following year.

His repertoire includes works of a wide range of composers, Johann Sebastian Bach composers of the 20th century, but Chopin is of particular importance. The first CD devoted to Uinskas F. Chopin was released in 2006 and the DVD of his concert at the Berlin Philharmonic in 2008

The pianist also plays music by Lithuanian composers. In 2005, Mr. Uinskas with other Lithuanian musicians joined the project in which he recorded two pieces of Lithuanian composer Vladas Jakubėnas. For his series debut Mr. Uinskas among other composers in the world included works by Lithuanian composer Balys Dvarionas. After his critical concerts wrote: “Three selections” Winter Sketches “by his fellow Balys Dvarionas (1904-1972), had the most personal and inspired renditions of the evening. Uinskas brings out the child pure energy of this work, with a reminiscent of the harmonic richness of Medtner and Tchaikovsky. “(” New York Concert Review “)

Summer (2010) K.. Uinskas became artistic director of the “New Musical Generation summer festival and academy”, which he called the most remarkable musicians from ten countries, which gave concerts ten days in a row and during the day taught students of the academy from all over the world. Mr. Uinskas also actively teaches students Masterclasses organized by the Lithuanian primary school – Ecole Nationale des Arts MK Ciurlionis and main University – Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Alongside his concert career Mr. Uinskas participates in an outreach program in promoting classical music to young people. 2006, pianist develops and manages a teaching classical music in secondary schools in Lithuania program. The project goal is to introduce classical music to young people live. The project proved to be a great success and was well received by students. For the duration of the project, the classical music “live” was heard by about 8,000 students.

Kasparas Uinskas will continue his visit to Belgium by performing Haydn´s Piano Concerto, no 11 in d-minor with the The Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia conducted by Jean-François Chamberlan, October 10th.
