Pagliacci på Plænen i Tivoli
8/30/17 •

UN GIORNO DI REGNO in Martina Franca
8/18/17 •
MARTINA FRANCA/ITAY: Is it possible for a Verdi’s opera to be so unpopular? For sure it brings the stigma to be the composer’s first and greatest fiasco at its prèmiere in Milan’s Scala in 1840. But also La traviata had its problems at the prémiere, and for what concerns Un giorno di regno every report forgets that after a few years the first reprises on stages as important as Milan such as Venice and Naples, were greeted by an undeniable success. Sonja KunstStall åpnet i Oslo
8/05/17 •

Tosca with HUI He in Lucca
8/03/17 •
Only for this first performance in occasion of the “return” of Tosca on stage of the open air Theater in Torre del Lago Puccini the main character is Hui He, and undoubtedly the curiosity and the waiting to listen to the famous Chinese soprano was great among the audience that gathered on the banks of the lake so dear to the composer. But apart from Ms He’s performance we must also admit that unfortunately it was a problematic performance. Review by Fabio Bardelli.
