A playfull, renewed La Cenerentola premiered February 20th 2010 at the Theatre des Champs Élysées. Amusing staged by Irina Brook, with Vivica Geneau in the titelrole – with brilliant coloratura.

Wow, that was funny! Again a good renewing of an old opera, who Irina Brook has managed to make playfull thank to a renewed idea of the surroundings it is played in, and thank to a wonderful cast of wonderful young singers, well prepared, well educated, who do know their handwork, singing, but too not are afraid of playing and entertaining and making this ver good history to an amusing evening for the audience, where every body on stage wanted to have fun, and give fun to all of us in the audience. All the fun started with the two stepsisters, Nidia Palacios as Tisbe and Carla Di Censo as Clorinda, are making so much noice, and fun, in the bar, which is their home, so they are waking up their father, Don Magnifico, brilliantly played and sung by Pietra Spagnoli

and other related specialists will play a supportive role in sildenafil treatment options for ED. It is reasonable to discuss the.

. Then we all undrstod that this would be funny. And it continued. They have found a pearl, Ildebrando D´Arcangelo as Alidoro, who was so good that he was wearth all the evening being there, but he was not the only one, Stéphane Degout as Dandini was a carricature of a Prince, when he was placing in for the Prince, Don Ramiro sung by Antonio Siragusa. What an evening.

Vivica Geneau in the titelrole is for me one of the three world best coloratura mezzosopranos in this repertoire in the world. A great pleasure, a beautiful singer.

Noëlle Ginefris decoration exspecially in the bar in the first and last act, was changing all the performance to another periode and another world. That was the meaning, to let a bar be the home of the three girls and their father, which was caricatured like a middle class mafioso boss, and then the contrast to the Royal Palace with its elegance, but still without loosing the Aerobic like choreography by Cecile Bon. The Costumes made by Sylvie Martin-Hyszka was successfull, a mix of strange ideas who suited the performance, and with 16 suits for the great male choir, all in different, well fitting suits, jackets, vests and pants, in happy materials, which were good with and without jackets. Lightdesign by Arnaud Jung followed it all. Concerto Köln and the Theatre des Champs Élysées Choir were playfull in their playing and singing with very good fast tempis, which was perfect for this production leaded by Michael Güttler

A very good operaevening with a very high quality level, representative for the high quality i nearly allways find at Theatre des Champs Élysées, Paris. The audience loved it.
