PARIS/FRANCE: A wonderful sounding Verdis Requiem enjoyed by a completely full Theatre des Champs Elysees. With London Philharmonic Orchestra headed by Vladimir Jurowsky, with 4 pearls of singers, all with education based on the Russian/East European singing tradition, which suited the Italian composer, Giuseppe Verdis beautiful Requim very well.
In Paris we are privilliged that such houses as Theatre des Champs Elysees are giving the audience possibilities to meet all the most outstanding ensembles and solists from all over the world, and not even in the classical music, also in Opera, Ballet, Musical
. I do hope that this tradition will continue as it has done in more than 100 years
.
The brilliant young leader of LPO since 2007 Vladimir Jurowsky did a good job
. The orchestra, choire and soloists followed his nuance details, which gave and underlined this outstanding Oratorium all the details it has

. Very beautiful. It was impressing when the trumpets got eccho from outside the room placed in the foyer at the second balcon, and in the end of that part the 2×2 Aida trumpet entered the balcony and gave it all this part needed. Well arranged.
It became a success.
Furthermore the 90 member large Chœur Orfeón Pamplonés, who showed a great sound from pianissimo to fortissimo, with many good details.
