Rotterdam Philharmonic in Paris
ONE OF THE BEST ORCHESTRAS IN EUROPE!!!
Review by Henning Høholt
PARIS: It has soon been a tradition with visit at Théâtre des Champs Élysées in Paris for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. And it is very welcome.
This time they presented a “Jubilee program”, including La Valse by Ravel, La Mer by Debussy and ending up with Le Sacre du Printemps by Stravinskij, inspired conducted by Yannick Nezet-Seguin.
I have written that before, but it is a pleasure to repeat it: Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestre is still one of the best Orchestra in Europe, because of musicality, entusiasme, its sound, soloplayers, groups, good conductor.
I Hope it will continue like that for a long time.
