Soo-Jung Ann, Stefan Cassomenos and Shinnosuke Inugai are the names of the finalists of the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn 2013. The nine-member jury headed by Pavel Gililov honored the three young pianist from South Korea, Australia and Japan among the five being beaten semi-finalists, which included Sofya Gülbadamova and Nicolas Namoradze.

Thomas Wypior canceled his participation in the semifinale on short notice, yesterday.

In the penultimate round of the pianists piano classical modern works by Sergei Prokofiev, Igor Stravinsky, Béla Bartók, and had the work of 21 Century and Ludwig van Beethoven Sonata for Piano and Horn in F major, Op interpret 17. Soloist in Beethoven’s Horn Sonata was Premysl Vojta, principal horn of the Berlin Staatskapelle and Beethoven Ring Prize winner 2011.

The special price chamber music is endowed with 1,000 euros and will be announced as part of the finale.

The final takes place on 14 December at 19 clock in the Beethoven Hall. Soo-Jung Ann plays Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, Stefan Cassomenos the fifth and Shinnosuke Inugai the First Piano Concerto of Ludwig van Beethoven. The finalists will be accompanied by Beethoven Orchestra Bonn under the direction of guest conductor Olari Elts
. The finale is sold out. WDR 3 records it and sends the recording on 27 December 2013 at 20.05 clock.

The first prize winner will receive a prize of 30,000 euros, 20,000 euros, the second winner and third place € 10,000. The winners of the International Telekom Beethoven Competition occurs in the Beethoven Beethoven Orchestra Bonn concerto 16 December 19 clock in the Beethoven Hall, Bonn, on, for which there are few remaining tickets. In addition, the audience award at the final price for the best finalist, who is endowed with 3,000 euros and is presented by the General-Anzeiger Bonn.

The Beethoven House Prize for the audience favorite in the second Round of Competition Thomas Wypior had won, with a piano recital in the chamber music hall of the Beethoven House in Bonn on 15 December 2013, a prize of 1,000 euros and a Beethoven bronze bust of Naoum Aronson is rewarded donated by Dr. Gudula Neidert-Buech.
