Soy de Cuba premiered a few nights ago at La Cigalle, Paris. It was absolutely wonderful, what a temperament, brilliant  dancers, good costumes, colours, energy, good music, and a very good combination of teh story told on the backgound film, pointing out to the same actors and dancers on stage.. WOW, this was an extraordinary vitamine injection in the autumn.

Exotic presentation, good history, elegantly made with a film, presenting the actual headpersons in Cuba, deliciouse accompaigned with cuban music, cha cha, mambo, rumba, in a good setting, colorfull and very nice costumes, with a great variation, modern.
Very High tempo, but when the musicality is coming from the heart. It is wonderful to see the participants on the film is coming live on stage, in the same costumes, and they have not been older, it looks like the history is continuing on stage. Very well arranged. It was realistic.

I want to point out a few of the participants on stage. First of them all Dieser Serano, choreographer and regi, and too dancing and playing a leading role in the small history on stage and at the accompanion film. together with Ayala Morejon, which did a very good job in playing the leading role, inocent in the beginning, but when in the end she is invited to dance, Wow.

The two singers Jenny Sotolongo and Carlos Angel Valdes was good. It was exciting to enjoy the percussionist Jesus Madera Diaz and his great colleagues, musicians, on stage.Yamira Gomez Fabre who is too assistant choreographer brilliant.

Furthermore the dancers: Yailen Hernandez Priede, Lester Correa Mezquia, Evelyn Leon Escobar, Enrique Fuente Garrido, Saigell Luis Palacio, Niovis Verdecia Medrano, José Adrian Leyva Napoles, Aimee Iturralde Canet, Daina Cala Hernandez, Erlan Castro Rivalta, Selma de los Angeles Rodriguez Rueda, Yaikel Loaces Montano.

I must admit that several times during the performance I was very impressed  by the virtuosity and by the acrobatic jumps of different kinds that the male dancers performed.

The only detail is that with so many excellent dancers on stage, they  had deserved  a wider stage.

During the time i was nearly feeling that i was having the atmosphaere from the nearly neighboor, the world famouse Moulin Rouge.
Young deliciouse dancers, singers and musicians all leaded by the composer and pianist Rembert Egues,
Run and by tickets before it is too late.
