I still remember the premiere of Cosi fan Tutte 13 years ago, it was an extraordinary event.

This time they have chosen a line of high standard well established singers as Sandrine Piau as Donna Anna, Véronique Gens as Donna Elvira, Laurent Naouri as Leoporello or Nicolas Rivenq as Count Almaviva , Don Alfonso in the titelrole as Don Giovanni, together with a line of young talented singers: Rachel Nicholls as Fiordiligi, Anne-Catherine Gillet as Despina or Donàt Havàr as Don Ottavio.

The old spirit in the production is still there
. The unique scenography is keept.  The basic idea of letting us follow the developing of the same singers in roles following after another, so it is like we are observing different parts of the life of a person. In this case represented by Nicolas Rivenq as Count Almaviva , Don Alfonso and as Don Giovanni. An interesting idea.

The performances at Théâtre des Champs Élysées are as follows:

The Wedding of Figaro, May 25. 28. 29.

 Cosi fan Tutte, June 2. 3. 5.

Don Giovanni, 7. 9. 11.

Ticket prices: Euro 125-5.
