July 6th 2009 his majesty King Harald of Norway, President Tarja Hallonen of Finland and the Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus opened the new embassy premises of the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland, central located in Vilnius.

Many members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from the Lithuanian parliament, Seimas. The new mayor for Vilnius, and representatives from the two countries Norway and Lithuania were present for the occasion.

This was only one of the events going on in Vilnius that very day. As this is starting the 1000 years jubilee celebration in Vilnius, attended by royalities, excellencies and celebrities from all the Nordic part of Europe.
