It was one of the really big events of the year at Theatre des Champs Élysées in Paris, where the young very talented conductor Vasily Petrenko conducted The Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at a good programme as mentioned above.

The brilliant Hélène Grimaud was virtuose and elegant in the Mozart piano concerto, however, the big pleasure and surprise was the orchestra, their sound, the energy, and the many beautiful details from the soloplayers in all the groups.
Furthermore as mr
. Vasily Petrenko is going to be the coming Music director of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, it is understandable that the Oslo orchestra has chosen Petrenko after Saraste, as I in Petrenko is finding the energy and engagement that the Oslo Philharmonic now needs after Mariss Jansons left the orchestra soon many years again.
