It is their critic, Charles Isherwood  who enjoy mr
. Sher´s  performance, and he is writing:

“A lust for wine , women and mischief are the hallmarks of Falstaff, one of Shakespeare´s greates characters

. All these outsize appetites shine through Antony Sher´s marvelous performance of the role in the Royal Shakespeara.

Company production of the two parts of “Henry IV” here at Barbican Theatre.

But more than anything it is Falstaff´s relish for language – his unstemmed and unstemmed gift for elaborate prevarication, for colourful excoriation, for creative ingratiation – thet Mr. Sher  brings to buoyant life. In his ebullient interpretation, the fat knight seems to gain much of his girth to putting him self up with an endless stream og outlandish verbiage, He may guzzl ewine as if it´s water, but what really feeds the energies of Mr. Sher´s Falstaff are words, gloriouse words”

Mr Isherwood continues in his review:

“The voise is rich, roaring music: Mr. Sher does not let us forget that, despite his unsrupulosus behavior, Sir John Falstaff is a nobleman
. His accent is as plummy as that of the mosy pompouse sourtier, but the language is far from gentlemanly. Mr. Sher is never more deliciouse than when Falstaff is pouring forth streams of invective, whether he´s defending himself from acccusations of cowardice or accusing Prince Hal of same. Mr. Sher manages to make Shakespeare´s often arcane language sound as familar as the slang you´d hea on the streets today.”

And Mr Isherwood ends his review in New York Herald Tribune like this:

“Above all teh production´s greatest asset is Mr

improve bone mass, muscle mass, strength and frequentlyprevalence of moderate to complete erectile dysfunction in sildenafil dosage.

. Sher, whose final moments are as wrenching as his earlier ones boisterously funny. After being brutally snubbed by Hal, his forer benefator, Falstaff assures his friends that he is merely putting on a show for the public as the new kng, that he will soon resume his old intimacy. But Mr. Sher suggests, through the siftened tenor of Falstaff´s once-robust voice, that for all his bluster, the man only half-believes his own words.”
