It was November has been growing, more direct, and are now in much better shape than what I experienced last autumn in Oslo. Now the performance and the whole choreographic and history idea is wonderful, entertaining, funny, and danced with energy and a lot of experience from a line of serious and wonderful, talented dancers with very different expressions in their dancing language.

I experienced it like we were visiting a cooperative, where some young people, some f them can be in family are living together, and we are following them through a week, or so, where they are being more and more personal in their expressions, and by showing their different sides, this is during the way being very entertaining, and because of the talented dancers/artists, it is being funny, sad, seldom dramatically, as in fact in this performance there are a lot of happy dancers, and no hysterically  personalities, I like that the choreographer Ida Christel Johannessen not are using hysterically drama in that way in her plays. In the program Daniel Proietto is describing the idea behind like the seven deadly sins, and he is too describing an idea, that this journey takes seven days, like the seven days in which God created the universe.

It was November is a very representative performance for the company, and I do understand that this company is welcomed everywhere in the world as good representatives for Norwegian Contemporary Dance.

In It was November we enjoyed the dancers Pia Elton Hammer, Cecilie Lindeman Steen, Kristine Søetorp and Line Tørmoen, and the three boys Dimitry Jourde, Daniel Proietto and Morten Cranner.

Good beautiful light by Kyrre Heldal Carlsen, giving the right focuses and atmospheres, and a functioning scenography and costumes by Kristin Torp for the different dancers and their characters, changing through the days during the week. Many of the dancers are absolutely first class, and are showing wonderful and very virtuosic solos, specially two of the boys Dimitry Jourde and Daniel Proietto were brilliant in their solo work, and too in some pas de deux with each their girl
. Kristine Søetorp´s singing was great, and I enjoyed her music playing. But in this critic I will not go more deep in to their different qualities of the dancers one by one, because this is a company work.

In the program text Daniel is to raising the question: “Will Saint Peter open the goddamn door?”, and continuing
. “Or did the performers sign a contract with the devil?” I guess that Saint Peter will open the goddamn door
. I shall send him and SMS and ask
. Does anybody have his mobile telephone number? Please.
