Wonderful Les Ballets Russes in Paris

For the fourth year we again enjoyed Les Ballets Russes 21 century, an idea by Andris Liepa
. We were deeply amazed this time the corps des ballets from the Kremlin ballet, did agreat job, starred by stars from the Bolshoi Ballet, Moscow and the Mariinsky Ballet, Saint Petersburg
.

With Ilse Liepa is wonderful in the demanding role as Cleopatra – Ida Rubinstein in this years new creation by Patrick de Bana. Les Ballets Russes is a hit. Now we are only waiting for  next years – the jubilee year- Les Coq d´Or, (The Golden Cockerel) by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov opera – ballet. 2013, 9-12 July. At Theatre des Champs Elysees.

By kind permisson of Valeria Komissarova, we can show a long line of wonderful photos from Patrick de Bana´s new creation of Cleopatra – Ida Rubinstein.

The wonderful costumes are designed by Ekaterina Kotova and the very good scenography by Pavel Kaplevich.
