SAGA tour -Riksteatret, Norway
2/24/14 •
OSLO/NORWAY: SAGA is an relevant tragicomedy of how the national banking swindle ruined the life of an Icelandic family having invested in banking stock to create a place for tourists. A modern saga of rise and fall of freedom under the reign of banks – and – the characters are puppets! Review by Lisa Strindberg

FIRENZE/ITALY: Puccini’s Madama Butterfly currently on stage in Florence had its main interest in having beloved Fiorenza Cedolins as the protagonist. Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra was in a really good shape, and the Chorus, which is going through a very good time, was excellent. It was all conducted by Juraj Valčuha. Reviev by Fabio Bardelli.
Riksoperaen? Kan Stortingsvedtak neglisjeres?
2/21/14 •

This production’s quality was very high and one can only hope that the Saint-Petersbourg Ballet Theatre will come back next year. Review by Chrisophe de Jouvancourt.

Praktfull Kingwings vs Nasjonalballetten – En vitamininnsprøytning
2/07/14 •

Betagende Cherkaoui i Bærum Kulturhus
2/07/14 •
Brilliant Musical-duet in Oslo
2/05/14 •
“The Last 5 Years” is a chamber musical for two soloists by composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown. The ups and downs in a partnership is demanding for the performers and rewarding for the audience in this creative production.

Live the posttrumpet !
2/04/14 •
OSLO/NORWAY: “Live the posttrumpet” is a melancholy-comical story of Ellinor who works as a communicator-consultant, but is unable to find words for the work she needs to do. She has an identical problem in her personal life. Her embarrasing silence with her boyfriend Stein demonstrates her unability to even find words for her feelings for him. Review by Lisa Strindberg
“Besøk av gammel dame” påTrøndelag Teater
2/04/14 •
Februar.
Smashing “Guys and Dolls” in Oslo
2/02/14 •
OSLO: It starts out as if “Chicago” had moved to “West Side” with a pace that grips you from the first beat. Hinting to the choreography of Jerome Robbins and Bob Fosse the opening number matches “All that Jazz” from “Chicago” and reminds us that the criminal world is an attractive venue for musicals. Here the impossible match between the biggest crook and the most pious girl on Broadway gives great entertainment. Review by Torkil Baden

Good old days in Oslo with “A Chorus Line”
1/30/14 •
OSLO/NORWAY: It might be a paradox to put a show that demands XXL splendor and glittering in the finale on a small stage like the Chat Noir of Oslo. But also the intimacy of this cabaret hall of great traditions can work. The spotlight reveals more of the cast, both individuals and in lineups, since they come closer than in the other musical theatres of the Norwegian capital. And the finale glitters!
