LA METAMORFOSI by Colasanti
4/06/14 •
FIRENZE/ITALY: As the author of the libretto, stage director, scenes and costumes designer, Pier’Alli seems to be the main craftsman of this production of “La metamorfosi” an opera by Silvia Colasanti, from Kafka’s homonymous romance, one of the most important texts of the twentieth century literature. It was published in Leipzig in 1915, and although difficult to stage, it has had even some theatre and movie adaptations. Review by Fabio Bardelli.
Imponerende Les Misérables i Kristiansand
4/05/14 •
. , Anmeldt av Bente Marcussen.

4/03/14 •
BERLIN/GERMANY: Strauss’ Vier Letze Lieder and Stravinskij’s Sacre du printemps are among the most important achievements in the music of 1900s. To find them both in a program, makes a small event out of a concert. This was the occasion to be found last week in Berlin, where Daniel Barenboim conducted “his” Staatskapelle Berlin. Review by Bruno Tredicine.

Pessimistic, but true: Fiddler on the roof in Oslo
3/31/14 •
OSLO/NORWAY: This fifty year old story, from 1964, which takes place in 1905, is fundamentally timeless. Oppression of minorities with a rich culture takes place constantly around the world, and even the development at Crim is related to that. “Fiddler on the Roof” is a good example of a musical that takes you beyond entertainment. Review: Torkil Baden

Don Giovanni tilbake på den norske operascenen.
3/24/14 •
Kritikk: Bente Marcussen.
